Thundergrid EV Specialist Case Study

Critical thinking, critical care, and critical mobilisation of employees.

In collaboration with Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, our team successfully:

  • Installed 22 onsite chargers with the infrastructure for up to 40 units, accommodating organisational growth.

  • Configured our software to enable dynamic load management and flex around critical energy loads.

  • Automated energy isolation when onsite generators are activated.

  • Designed and implemented a fleet manager portal so employees could monitor energy versus fuel usage.

What is dynamic load management?

Many EV chargers on the market do not communicate with one another or share power supplies. Our cloud-based technology solves this by linking all chargers together, clustering the building or residential load to remain within the limits of upstream capacity and local transformer limits.

This innovation and technology is unique to Thundergrid.
