We offer a full end-to-end service to our clients: from infrastructure audits and hardware installations to innovative charging platforms and ongoing billing support. We’re working to create a nationwide network of smart charging systems that accelerate the adoption of EVs, support the wider grid and reduce New Zealand’s reliance on fossil fuels.

What’s the role?

We are seeking a Building Services or Electrical Engineer who can collaborate and problem solve clients’ EV infrastructure needs and communicate about the electrical designs in a way that our team and client’s understand what needs to happen.

Your day will be varied and involve the following:

  • Providing technical expertise around EV infrastructure and guiding others in the team.

  • Collaborating with our project and account managers to provide CAD designs/single line diagrams and electrical engineering support on projects.

  • Work with sales staff to deliver pre-sales technical specifications

  • Working closely with clients, contractors and the project team to provide advice and guide them in regards to electrical design and safety

  • Providing technical overview on new products and services alongside guidance on electrical compliance and international testing standards

  • Trouble-shooting technical issues as they arise

What we are looking for?

Having previous experience in building services or electrical engineering will give you an understanding of the complexity of working in commercial buildings and how to design and install smart EV charging infrastructure around this. A definite head start…..

In addition, you will be very savvy when it comes to CAD design and calculation software and an understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.

You are a natural when it comes to problem-solving communication and report writing/analytics with flawless attention to detail.

Experience in the electrical sector and/or energy efficiency and clean technology will be advantageous.
